Idea to Creation
For this project, there wasn't much for the creative side do to it being pretty straightforward with no personal ideas involved. To make the brake bracket I just followed the sheet that Mrs. Proctor gave us and went to work. Once I got to Fusion 360 with it, there was another sheet that was provided for us and it was the exact same one we used for the maze, which made it pretty easy to follow along with, plus two minor changes.
Recipe
After having all the dimensions already on a sheet, I opened up Inventor and went to work right away. I then added every dimension with every circle then extruded it. Once completed, I saved my break bracket to Inventor and opened up Fusion 360. Considering we were given step by directions on how to do our maze and break bracket in Fusion 360, all I had to do was follow the steps and it was smooth sailing from there. Fusion 360 was used to make sure the dimensions was correct for my break bracket and that it ran correctly on the Mill when ready. Next, I saved it to a g code that way it would correspond with my flash drive. I also taped the back of the foam down that way it the Mill would cut out my maze correctly. Finally after my maze was cut out, I had to engrave my name and class hour on it as well. This is done by going into Illustrator and typing in my name and class hour, then creating outlines and changing the color to RGB Blue so that it would work on the laser. Once completed I headed down to the laser, and finished it up.

Summary
During this process of using the Mill, I not only learned how to use Mill, but also learned how a great deal of patience. After getting my brake bracket ripped into pieces because I left it in the Spanish room, I had to restart. Then, while using the machine the second time it malfunctioned and wouldn't work for 15 minutes and that was a bit of a stresser. As for working with the setup for the Mill, it was up and down. Using Fusion 360 with my maze beforehand made it a lot easier the second time around with my brake bracket. Setting up on the Mill was a little more challenging. After going through it twice due to the first one being broken, I was still very confused. Thankfully Mrs.Proctor came in clutch and helped me out with it to make it the process a lot easier. Overall, this project was at times very fun and at times extremely stressful. But there's no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't do it again.
